The House

Bruchlas – This three bedroomed self-catering cottage sits above the beautiful Knock Bay, looking over the Sound of Sleat to mainland Scotland. To make the most of the stunning scenery and the ever changing light, there are huge floor to ceiling windows all along the south facing side of the house. Even from the comfort of the bedroom downstairs you can enjoy the views.

Living space – The living room and kitchen are open plan though separated by three steps. Each room with expansive windows. There is under floor heating throughout the downstairs as well as a wood burning stove and plenty of logs. You will also find a flatscreen TV, Sky Cinema+, books, maps and local information. For the children there are books, games and toys for indoors and outdoors. There is also Wifi available free of charge.

Kitchen – The fully-fitted kitchen has an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and microwave and everything you need to cook up a feast. There is also a table which seats six adults easily. There is a freezer, a washer/ dryer and the heating system in the utility area as well as another area to hang clothes to dry.

Bedrooms – There are three bedrooms overall, sleeping six in style.

Downstairs is double bedroom with a king size double bed and full-length windows providing fantastic views over the Sound of Sleat.

Upstairs are two further substantial bedrooms – one with twin beds and the other one with a king-sized bed.

Bathroom – There is a light airy bathroom with full-sized bath, power shower as well as toilet. Handmade Isle of Skye soap is provided too.

Wetroom – Next to the double bedroom downstairs is the wetroom with a power shower, basin and toilet.

Provisions for children – Young children are also catered for as we provide a travel cot, stairgate and highchair as well as children’s cutlery.

Included in the price are high quality bed linen and towels, electricity and logs.
